What a fantastic parallel, Joe. Since recruitment is such a time consuming and expensive process, I believe that onboarding is one of THE most important things we as leaders should focus on (that is, after hiring smart!) Often, I see that even though a manager may do a great job onboarding, the team being part of that onboarding in a meaningful way is not robust or is lacking altogether. What if every work team put this much enthusiasm into welcoming and onboarding their new teammates! What a positive impact that would have on the new person AND the team ! Thanks for the insight! I am going to encourage all of my managers to think about this and share!

I love to watch your videos. They open my eyes to opportunities that I may not see through my eyes and ways to address the issues. I would love to see you provide similar video’s that managers can share that would directly do the same for employees. These can also be used as a segway to open discussions and an additional tool for managers’. Looking forward to your next communication. Thanks so much for your continued support !!

Joe, thank you for this great, realistic information. Team work is fundamental. Everyone will have their time to help others and to need help from others – without judgement of either circumstance. This will also foster great communication and positive energy. Thank you again.
